Jacqueline Fernandez was born in Manama and raised by an ethnically diverse, multiracial family. Jacqueline's father Elroy is from Sri Lanka (Catholic Sinhalese) and her mother, Kim, a Malaysian. Jacqueline is the youngest of two sisters and a brother who is older. Parents moved to Bahrain in 1980s due to the Lankan turmoil and she was raised in Bahrain. After completing the schooling in Bahrain she won a Scholarship at the University of Sydney to pursue the Media and Communications Degree in Sydney, Australia. Her passion for different cultures and languages inspired her to enroll in the Berlitz language school, where she improved her French and Arabic while learning Spanish. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 competed in the Miss Universe 2006 and Miss Universe 2006 as well as Miss Universe 2006 when she won the title in 2006. In the wake of being crowned Miss Sri Lanka in 2006 Padukone started her career on television. She hosted the television show Lanka Business Report which focused on the business of Sri Lanka. Padukone has a daughter with badminton star Prakash Padukone. She was raised in Bangalore and was born in Copenhagen. As a teenager she competed in badminton at national level championships but left her career in the sport in order to be a fashion model. Padukone is a native of Mangalore, India. Her native language Konkani is where she comes from. Padukone Village is situated inside Kundapura Taluk within the Udupi District of Karnataka in India. Prakash Padukone's father is an international champion in badminton who retiring. Her mom is a traveling agent.
